Dan + Kelly | Married

Dan and Kelly had to be the happiest, most giddy couple I have photographed. Their wedding day was a blast. They lived it up in every way they could, making their day as unique and fun as they could. This was the perfect representation of their relationship.
I have known Kelly since high school. We grew up going to the same youth group together. I have always known her to be adventurous, happy and the best hug giver! Brian and I were delighted to meet the perfect complement to our good friend. Dan is just as fun and adventurous as Kelly. We couldn't be happier for them.


























































They chose to see each other before the ceremony so we could get some non rushed shots of the two of them. I love it when couples decide to do this. The moment is so special. In this case, they took a couple of minutes to pray together after they saw one another. Just one of the reasons why I love being the photographer, it's such an honor to capture this for them.

I love this moment. Immediately following the ceremony the couple sneaked down a hallway to be out of sight while waiting for the rest of the bridal party to gather for pictures. This is when it actually dawned on them that they were finally married and they couldn't contain their excitement.

Pam, Nick and I met up on what we thought was going to be a cloudy, thunderstorm kind of day. However, it turned out to be one of the sunniest, hottest afternoons that everyone was ready to get outside and enjoy. They suggested a beautiful rose garden in West Hartford, which gave us enough shade and variety of locations to have a great maternity shoot.

Baby Mary

This is my niece, Mary. She was born May 22. Last week I was able to go visit and hold her. She is a beautiful, angel baby.

Student Portraits

I originally had separate dates scheduled to photograph Jack and Megan individually, but the weather wasn't cooperating, so we jumped on the first chance we got to go out and get some photos. Jack and Megan are both high school students who are pretty good friends with each other as well as with us. I took the opportunity to have them jump in a few shots together. I highly recommend bringing friends to photo shoots. They know how to make one another smile/laugh and it just makes it that much more fun.
We spent most of the time hiking in Jack's back woods. He took us to his favorite places to be by himself and think. I must say, the rest of us were a bit jealous, the scenery was gorgeous and constantly changing. Oh the days to just be by yourself and not have to be responsible for anyone but you.

































































































































































Hannah is such a doll who I loved getting to know during this photo shoot. It was just the two of us for this portrait session and we learned how much we had in common. She is an artist too and going to study painting at a school in NC.
